Ocean's Eleven

"Stay Away From Negative People and Surround Yourself With People Who Bring a Positive Attitude"

Google Movie Synopsis:
Dapper Danny Ocean (George Clooney) is a man of action. Less than 24 hours into his parole from a New Jersey penitentiary, the wry, charismatic thief is already rolling out his next plan. Following three rules: Don't hurt anybody, don't steal from anyone who doesn't deserve it, and play the game like you've got nothing to lose. Danny orchestrates the most sophisticated, elaborate casino heist in history.

Scenario:
Rusty (Brad Pitt) and Danny are discussing a heist and, more importantly what type of personnel they will need. Selection of this “staff” will be critical to the success of the task—the robbery and Rusty seems to be more in tuned with this reality. While Danny seems to be prepared to move forward with whomever, Rusty, in his own unique manner, is more selective. In the end, Rusty knows, the heist will ultimately come down to the people selected to pull it off.

Selected Scene:
Rusty:     You'd need at least a dozen guys doing a combination of cons.

Danny:    What do you think?

Rusty:     Off the top of my head, I say, looking at a Bowski, a Jim Brown, a Ms. Daisy, two Jethros and a Leon Spinx, not to mention the biggest Ella Fitzgerald ever! Where do you think you’re getting the money to back this?
Danny:    We’re hittin’ these three casinos we’ll get our bankroll, Benedict’s got a long list of enemies.
Rusty:     Yeah, but enemies with loose cash and nothing to lose? Ah, Reuben.
Danny:    Reuben!
Business Tip:

Too often we see or hear businesses not surviving or closing their doors, and we wonder why? The product/service was good, why are they out of business?
A reason for this may be due to one thing, Attitude. Danny's team had more than a few things in common, the most important was an attitude to give it their best. We’ve all heard the phrase “winning breeds winning”. Individuals who are on the same level of understanding the how, what, where and why of the mission, create a solid business foundation. This doesn’t mean surround yourself with “yes people.” This also doesn’t mean to alienate yourself from others. Surround yourself with positive, motivated individuals who share a similar passion of achieving the same results, as well as, the tasks it takes to get you there.
